Get In Touch

– The Brief

Covac approached us after their site was underperforming, which resulted in them losing ground on their competitors as several of their priority keywords had declined. They needed a new SEO strategy with more consistency and focus to achieve more measurable results. As their old site was outdated and not designed with user experience in mind, they required a holistic approach to bridge their online marketing together through SEO and web design.

The Challenge

Our first task was to identify where the website could be improved to make it more user-centric. In the SEO planning process, we identified that they were failing to rank for their priority search terms due to a combination of thin content and URLs which were not SEO friendly.

In this phase, we spotted that several crucial onsite SEO elements had been implemented incorrectly, so a complete overhaul was needed across the site. It was apparent that keyword stuffing was present with the overuse of search terms on specific pages, which was directly affecting traffic to the site due to the poor ranking positions of the keywords.

– The Outcome

The start of the strategy involved the overhaul of the current onsite SEO. Initially, we produced a new SEO sitemap informed by thorough keyword research. This allowed us to create new meta optimisations and content which was both user and search engine friendly. We also paid a lot of attention towards technical SEO elements including schema, URL structures and site speed to ensure that the site had enhanced its SEO footprint.

We shared all of our work with the client to keep the process transparent and to ensure that our content was tailored to industry expertise. This allowed us to create keyword-rich information which was factual and useful to Covac’s customers.

With our content and optimisations in place along with a new site design, Covac saw a significant increase in traffic and their organic rankings. We also saw an exceptional uplift in their goal completions and goal conversion rate, with both contact page and quick quote submissions displaying a considerable improvement.
