– The Brief

Blow Motion Hand Dryers have been in the online retail business since 2012, so they were very aware of marketing companies that promise the earth and deliver nothing. They were looking for a bespoke SEO strategy that was consistent and achieved measurable results. The existing website wasn’t reaching it’s full potential, with priority keywords not even landing on the first page of Google, and the conversion rate dropping year on year. Blow Motion’s focus was to increase organic visibility in search engines and get more customers to convert on their website.

The Challenge

After in depth analysis of the website from an SEO, design and CRO point of view, we knew that the user experience was the reason for the decrease in visitors, conversion rates and overall revenue. We always build websites that not only reflect a brands visions and goals, but from a customer point of view. Although design is an important element in web design, so is user experience, and we made the decision to perform a redesign of the existing site – for a fresh, clean look with additional elements.

– The Outcome

Before starting the redesign, we conducted a thorough keyword research strategy and navigational sitemap to identify new website opportunities. This enabled us to visualise new pages in the navigation and how it would look from a user experience point of view. Research and analysis are extremely important to master before any designs are produced, as for Blow Motion, we doubled their SEO footprint which meant a great opportunity for twice as many visitors, conversions and sales.

Our on-site strategy featured proposing optimisations reflected in our keyword research strategy. And by making these changes on the existing website and carrying them over, enabled a real improvement in organic traffic and organic rankings. Aside from on site SEO, we performed technical elements of SEO which included implementing Schema, cannibalisation issues, URL restructure, broken links and site speed to name a few.

With the redesign in place and our optimisations fully implemented, the site saw a significant uplift in traffic, rankings and revenue. And we feel lucky enough to be part of Blow Motion’s marketing journey as they continue to break sale records each year.
